LAW SCHOOL STUDENT LIAISONS
The Atlanta Lawyer Editorial Board Welcomes New Members
T
he Atlanta Lawyer is proud and excited to add two law
school student members to the Editorial Board: Erik
Provitt, a 2L at John Marshall Law School and Tiffany
Taylor, a 2L at Emory Law School.
Hailing originally from Detroit, Michigan, Erik J. Provitt, an
Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School (JMLS) 2L and is one
of the newest law student liaisons to the Editorial Board of
The Atlanta Lawyer. Erik holds a B.S. in Business with a
concentration in Marketing and an MBA with a concentration
in management. Building on his current employment with
SunTrust Bank, Erik focuses his legal studies in the area of
Banking Law. Not only is Erik busy raising his 4 children with
his wife, he also serves as a Student Co-Chair to the Atlanta
Bar Association for JMLS. In the community, he
is the Interim President of the Gwinnett NAACP,
Treasurer of the Young Democrats of Gwinnett, and
is on the Steering Committee for the United Way of
Hall County’s Young Leaders Society.
Tiffany interned with the Legal Unit of the Atlanta District office
of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the
General Law Unit of the Atlanta Legal Aid Society. Taylor is
involved with organizations like the Volunteer Veterans’ Clinic,
Black Law Student’s Association, and Emory’s Corporate
Governance and Accountability Review.
Erik and Tiffany will be heavily involved in soliciting and writing

Tiffany Taylor joins The Atlanta Lawyer’s Editorial
Board as a law student liaison from Emory Law
School. Tiffany joins us from Orlando, Florida by
way of Savanna la Mar, Jamaica. She is a part of
the 1.5 generation of Americans who immigrated
to America before adolescence and is also a first
generation college student. Tiffany graduated cum
laude from Florida State University with a B.S. in
