ACYL Scholarship

n April 2, 2012, the law firm of Fried Rogers Goldberg
LLC announced the winners of its Third Annual
Scales of Justice Scholarship award. The scholarship
recipients were chosen from student essays written by high
school seniors in the Metro Atlanta area on the topic of: “If
Congress and the President had to listen to me, here is what
I would tell them needs to be done.” This year’s First Place
winner was Katherine Morelli from Roswell High School.
Second and Third Place awards were given to Sarah Iyere

from Peachtree Ridge High School and Marisa Koch from
North Gwinnett High School, respectively.
Fried Rogers Goldberg is a personal injury law firm
representing victims of catastrophic injuries and wrongful
death. “We are glad to extend this opportunity each year for
students in our community to share their view on an aspect
of the law,” said firm partner Michael Goldberg.
