the atlanta bar association’s annual Meeting and
awards luncheon was held on wednesday, May
25, 2011, at the piedmont Driving club. the new
president, Rita A. sheffey, Hunton & Williams
LLP, and all members of the board and the 21
sections’ boards were installed by Judge Beverly
B. Martin, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit.
outgoing president, Michael B. Terry, Bondurant,
Mixson & Elmore, LLP, presented the awards for
the 2010-2011 year.
the 2010-2011 fulton county court employee of the year award
was presented to Ann Collins, recently retired Judicial assistant to
Chief Judge Cynthia Wright, Fulton County Superior Court.
Liz Price, Alston + Bird, accepted the large law firm service
award on behalf of the firm.
Jeffrey o. Bramlett, Bondurant, Mixson & Elmore, LLP, accepted
the Mid-size law firm service award on behalf of the firm.
Kimberly C. Gaddis, Gaddis & Lanier LLC, chair of the real estate
section, accepted the large section of the year award on behalf
of the section.

Lindsay verity, Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc., accepted the small
law firm service award on behalf of atlanta legal aid. Verity
also received a Distinguished service award for dedicated and
distinguished service to the association.
