Filing for Freedom
A program called Filing for Freedom brings together the Atlanta tax and legal communities to provide free tax preparation services for military personnel and first responders . Several professional affiliations are involved , including state and local bar associations , the Pro Bono Sections of the American Bar and Federal Bar , and government agencies including the Department of Defense and the Internal Revenue Service .
The coordinator of the Atlanta Filing for Freedom program is Chuck Hodges ( Jones Day ) in Atlanta , pictured below receiving an award presented by the First Sergeant Council at Dobbins Air Reserve Base for his time and dedication .
