The goal was to demystify the first year of law school and to convey as much helpful information , advice , and encouragement that we could . Each of these five former Atlanta Bar Summer Law interns had received funding from the Atlanta Bar Foundation to purchase and study the “ Law Essay Exam Writing System ,” which gives great information and instruction on how to write law school exam answers . The Nelson Mullins Diversity , Equity , and Inclusion Committee provided funding to purchase each of these former Atlanta Bar SLIP interns a complete set of supplemental study materials to assist them in their first-year studies . Nelson Mullins also provided recent copies of O ’ Connor ’ s “ Federal Rules .”
to apply ! Also , we are always looking for new and additional hosts and sponsors willing to invest in a deserving young person .
If you would like to host or sponsor an intern in 2023 , please reach out to Stephanie Martinez at ( smartinez @ atlantabar . org ). You will change a life … and it well may be yours !
SLIP is deeply grateful for the support received from the Atlanta Legal Community , including hosting interns , and generously financially supporting the program .
