An Atlanta native, Kevin was born
and raised in Kennesaw, Georgia
and has been a member of the
Atlanta Bar Association since the
summer of 2011.

Abbey was born in Orlando,
Florida and joined the Atlanta Bar
Association in 2015.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR
ATLANTA BAR WORK HIGHLIGHTS?
I got my start with the Bar by
volunteering on The Atlanta
Lawyer Editorial Board. Since
then, I've served on the CLE
Board of Trustees and the SideBar
Steering Committee. I'm also
the immediate Past Chair of
the Corporate Counsel Section,
and I'll help with whatever else
our fearless president Ryan and
Executive Director Terri need!
FAVORITE SUMMER SIDETRACK?
Google the band Hello Peril from
the Netflix film, "Always Be My
Maybe." Their song, Tennis Ball, is
a catchy reminiscent of The Roots
and early hip hop. Take a listen.

My son and I really enjoy
spending our time volunteering at
Brighten Gardens of Buckhead.
Brighten Gardens is an assisted
living center located in the heart
of uptown Atlanta and offers
assisted living, memory care,
short-term stays and an on-site
physical therapy gym. I believe
that it's truly in giving, that we
receive.
IF A MOVIE WAS MADE ABOUT
YOUR LIFE, WHICH ACTOR WOULD
PLAY YOU?
I would have to say Ron Weasley
(played by Rupert Grint), given
the fact that I've been told I have
an uncanny resemblance to him.

Jessica has been involved with the
Atlanta Bar Association since 2009.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR ATLANTA
BAR WORK HIGHLIGHTS? I was a
Board Member on the Women
in the Profession Committee;
a recipient of the Outstanding
Woman in the Profession
Achievement Award; Co-Chair on
the Membership Committee; and
a recipient of the Distinguished
Service Award. I serve as an
Atlanta Bar Board Member at
Large and I am the Co-Chair
of the Law School Outreach
Committee.
WHAT'S THE SOUND TRACK TO YOUR
SUMMER?
Lizzo, Juice (“if I’m shinin’
everybody gonna shine”). So
positive.
WHAT'S YOUR IDEAL SUMMER DAY?
Walking with friends (on the
BeltLine, Oakland Cemetery, or
at Piedmont Park) and scrutinizing
other pedestrians to see if they are
famous, then seeing a concert at
the Atlanta Botanical Gardens.
