her confidence and poise . I mustered up the courage to speak to Christina , and now , we have become friends . She encouraged me to run for a Section Board position and then the Atlanta Bar Board . When I doubted myself , she asked me , ‘ Why not ?’ and reminded me that I would definitely lose if I didn ’ t throw my hat in the ring . ‘ What ’ s the worst that could happen ?’ Fast forward to today , where I have become one of the people judges and seasoned litigators greet at various Bar and Section events and I ' m currently on track to become the first Asian-American President of the Bar .”
