[email protected] 16 April 2018 Gone are the days of live recep- tionists booking your calendar or epic email chains just to schedule a meeting. Appointment schedul- ing software replaces these an- tiquated methods while helping you streamline your business and improve your client experience. The software functions by synch- ing with your existing calendars and allowing clients to automati- cally book time with you. Dozens of these scheduling platforms are available, with more popular ver- sions including Schedule Once, Calendly, SimplyBook.me, and Acuity Scheduling. The software is easy to use. You set up a booking page with pa- rameters such as the hours you are available, how much time you want in between meetings, how much notice you need, fixed or flexible appointment lengths, de- fault or flexible locations, phone or in-person meetings, or even making the appointments sub- ject to your approval rather than automatic. Once you have set the parameters, the booking page then syncs with your Google or Outlook calendar, blocking off the time that you are unavailable. Anyone you provide your booking page
