100 LUXURY HOMES
harmoniously with the architecture, reinforcing its language and contributing to a unified spatial identity.
Marbles, natural stones, woods, and textile surfaces define sequences, hierarchies, and different perceptual conditions. In this sense, material is not an added value to architecture, but one of the components through which it is expressed.
Particular importance is given to the Levanto marble elements located in the living area. Their function is neither purely structural nor merely decorative. They introduce a spatial rhythm that organizes the relationships between rooms and contributes to the perception of continuity across the entire floor.
The same principle guides the kitchen design. The central island in red marble is not conceived as an autonomous object but as an integral part of the architectural composition, in direct relationship with the columns, vertical surfaces, and the overall spatial structure.
The interior design is further enriched by the presence of iconic pieces of international design, selected not as isolated elements, but as components capable of
dialoguing with the architecture and reinforcing its character without disrupting its balance.
The color palette draws inspiration from the Sardinian landscape and, in particular, from the scenery surrounding the Cagliari area: the soft pink of flamingos inhabiting the lagoons, the dusty greens of Mediterranean scrub and coastal steppes, and the mineral tones of stone and earth. These colors are reinterpreted in a contemporary key and translated into subtle accents, contributing to a sophisticated atmosphere deeply rooted in place.
Overall, the project proposes a reflection on the theme of architectural permanence. In a cultural context characterized by an increasing focus on image and the continuous replacement of formal languages, the project seeks a condition of greater stability through control of proportions, the use of materials, and the definition of lasting spatial relationships.
The villa does not present itself as a manifesto nor as a stylistic exercise. Its aim is simpler and, at the same time, more ambitious: to construct a home in which architecture, interiors, and landscape form parts of a single coherent system, balanced between memory and transformation, identity and contemporaneity.
