A TRULY ROYAL EXPERIENCE AT THE RUBENS AT THE PALACE

BY THE ART OF LUXURY

In-keeping with the hotel’ s signature suites, the space felt generous, beautifully appointed, and subtly rather than ostentatiously luxurious. For those seeking an elevated stay, The Rubens offers Executive Suites and Family Suites with features such as marble bathrooms, luxury“ Savoir” beds, Nespresso machines and even in-room yoga mats.
Being so close to Buckingham Palace added a special dimension— looking through the windows at the Mews and knowing you’ re in the heart of London’ s royal quarter creates a memorable backdrop.
DINING & AFTERNOON TEA
One of the highlights of our stay was the afternoon tea— a real treat and far from an everyday experience. Served in the elegant Palace Lounge overlooking the Royal Mews, this classic British ritual was executed with elegance and care.
From the moment we stepped into the grand lobby of The Rubens at the Palace, our stay felt exceptional— a perfect blend of timeless luxury, impeccable service, and thoughtful detail. Nestled on Buckingham Palace Road, just across from the Royal Mews of Buckingham Palace, the setting could not have been more regal.
THE SUITE
We stayed in the Grand St James Suite, which truly was nothing short of stunning. The rich fabrics, elegant furnishings and opulent, regal touches made us feel as though we were staying inside a royal residence.
The presentation of the sandwiches, scones and pastries was beautiful, and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. What stood out even more was how the team catered seamlessly to our dietary requirements.
For dinner, we experienced the hotel’ s landmark restaurant, The English Grill, which holds two AA rosettes and features charcoalfired Josper grilling of premium British cuts. The setting was calm and elegant, the service polished and attentive, and the food truly memorable.
