The symbol
T describes the technique used by the right hand in open
position (with all fingers close together making right angle with the
thumb) to tap the strings and and the top of the guitar below them by
stopping for a while the strings sound and producing a light wood sound
meanwhile.During this tapping the left hand is kept to the previous
chord position.
Small fingernail
knocking on the top of the guitar below the strings and between bridge and
escutcheon (closer to the bridge than to the escutcheon) is called golpe and is noted by the symbol
G .It usually comes alone or with simultaneous note played by the thumb or even with a simultaneous
downstroke.
