71 for the past fteen years christophe Declourt has collaborated with Tectona creating eight outdoor furniture ranges, some of which are among the best-sellers of the brand such as Shanghai, exeter and copacabana. it is through his contact with skilled artisans of a traditional savoir-faire that this designer has developed his knowledge of wood and its assembly techniques. His designs, in uenced by classical references, continue to blossom. A lover and connoisseur of ne materials, Delcourt designs in favour of pure and essential lines aiming for the right balance of proportions. christophe Delcourt likes to de ne a piece of furniture as a “longterm investment, a companion for life,” which is why he seeks to incorporate comfort in all of his designs. The bivouac lamp, designed by goliath, revolutionises outdoor lighting. equipped with a solar panel and high performance leD, it has a long battery life with a strong intensity. The diffused white light can be adjusted to four different levels of intensity. in 2009, goliath Dyèvre created his design studio with Quentin vaulot. At the end of 2014, he began his solo work after four months of in house training with the kujoyama villa in japan. A project, which was created in collaboration with pewter artisan Seikado and gilder manuela Paul-cavallier, was presented at the museum of Decorative Arts in Paris in june 2015. The lausanne bench is an interpretation of the glenwood bench in teak wood. in an effort to modernise this iconic piece, Tectona called upon ecAl (university of Art and Design in lausanne) choosing the expertise of Anthony guex to execute this project. This young designer met the challenge by combining aluminium with wood. The metal element redraws the silhouette of this bench giving it a true lightweight feeling all while maintaining its classic style. it can be created in different colours. Anthony guex is a young Swiss designer who graduated from ecAl (ecAl university of Art and Design in lausanne), which is among the most prestigious universities in the world. He worked as a cabinetmaker for seven years before returning to his studies where he became interested in furniture design useful for everyday life. inspired by benches from the nineteenth century, the Ottavia bench is an elegant and timeless piece that naturally blends into any outdoor space. its aluminium legs, finely crafted to resemble bamboo, combine harmoniously with the clean design of the backrest and seat in teak. The pyramid serves as a support for climbing plants to create a plant sculpture in any garden. The solidity of the teak guarantees the quality and durability of this piece. The structure is also secured to the ground by its four long stakes. inspired by the madeleine castaing bench, the 1800 collection by Tectona features a varied selection of products in blue-grey lacquered aluminium with its characteristically refined details.
