The 2017/2018 Sailing Season is here!
The 2017/18 Sailing Handbook is now available to download or a hardcopy can be purchased via Reception.
This season sees a newly designed program of events and races to suit all members both new to sailing and experienced
sailors, allowing more flexibility for boat owners and their various crew to participate in their selected event. The Sailing
Program can be viewed online http://www.rpayc.com.au/sailing-events , or schedule of events for the season is printed in the
new Sailing Handbook.
Entry into each Series be it as a series entrant or casual entrant for Club weekly races, the Club Marine East Coast BWPS or
Regatta's is via the Online Entry System. Remember if you have dual skippers or compete in the Women’s Twilight or Winter
Series you will need to update your entry online with the correct skippers’ name to display on the results.
To be an eligible entrant your boat will require a current 2017/18 Australian Sailing and RPAYC Special Regulation
Equipment Form together with submission of your Person-In-Charge Form and any Rating Certificates (IRC, ORCi, ORC Club,
SMS). All boats shall maintain the appropriate Insurance coverage as per the Notice of Race.

Saturday 2 September sees the commencement of the 2017/18 Sailing Season with the annual Sail Past and Pittwater Dash
Race.
o Wednesday Non-Spinnaker Series (year-round) - Race 1, 6 September
o Saturday Inshore & Classic Boat Series (spinnaker & non-spinnaker & One Design Division) - Race 1, 9 September
o Saturday Broken Bay Offshore Series (this is a combined series of SOPs and Broken Bay) - Race 1, 16 September
o Saturday Mini Regattas (Windward/Leeward sprints) ** Additional dates added** - Round 1, 23 September
o Club Marine East Coast Bluewater Series inc the Club Marine Pittwater to Paradise Regatta - Race 1, 23 September
o Saturday Commodores Cup Series, including a non-spinnaker division - Race 1, 23 September
