My lovely colleague and friend Andéle
is soon tying the knot with Mark, right
here in this very wonder-avenue
on the Estate. Fingers crossed and
praying that for just one day, no
rain will fall! Either way, Andéle,
we all share in your excitement and
can’t wait to join in your and Mark’s
celebrations!
Okay, I know – not everyone shares
my cheerfulness for Winter. Perhaps
you might be one of those who can’t
bear the thought of the pending chill
and just want to hibernate or migrate
along with the swallows. Easter - and
all the chocolaty delight it entails –

has come and gone… At the very least
you would be able to fuel up for Winter
with Gustaaf’s lip-smacking Easter
treats… I know I did! Of course there
are a few more public holidays lined
up, so grab your mountain bike or put
your running shoes on and head to
the mountains for an endorphin rush,
or grab the book that’s been gathering
dust, left un-read since Christmas –
whatever tickles your fancy, go and
do it and enjoy yourself. Wow, I feel
like a motivational speaker… what
can I say – April really IS the best
month of the year. Come November,
I’ll need your pep-talk!
