from the golden age of gaming and this project will allow me to show just how relevant these games can still be. My 8-bit platform game includes numerous animated sprites in a pixel art world and demonstrates a platform charactercontrol system as well as well-scripted levels. After university I plan to work for an independent games company such as “Ravenous Games” in Canada or “Jagex” in Britain. These are both companies that I have been in touch with over the last few months and are both expecting to hear from me after university. The work I have produced for this project will give me a firm footing at the beginning of my career and a portfolio of work that I am confident to show to prospective employers.
