an we follow all the 10
commandments correctly? No! Let us examine the commandment in Exodus 20 : 17.
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house,
thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife,
nor his man servant, nor his maid servant,
nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is
thy neighbour’s.

Can we really follow this commandment in our lives? No! Because at some point
or the other we must have at least once coveted our neighbour’s or our brother’s house.
So to follow the law it is very difficult. When
Jesus was on the earth, the scribes felt happy
that being the heirs of Abraham, they were
following the Law. But actually, nobody can
meet the demands of Law. It is highly impossible to follow the commandments of
God in order to go to Him. Nobody can
receive the eligibility to go to God and He
is aware of it. But the Jews were very proud
that they were following all the commandments. Let us study what Jesus did when he
came to the earth.
Matthew 5 : 18 - 19 says,
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and
earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no
wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Whosoever therefore shall break one of these
least commandments, and shall teach men
so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and
teach them, the same shall be called great in
the kingdom of heaven.
If we do not obey at least one of
the least commandments even once then
we will be called the least in the Kingdom
