The best people with the right skill set want direction not specific instruction. Micro-management is out. Set the course then get out of the way. Let them get on with what they’ve been hired to do.
Some ask for help others don’t. Recognise when to offer and when to step in. Show a willingness to seek help from others. It’ll increase morale, collaboration and respect.
Do as I do not as I say. Be consistent in actions, values, behaviours, principles and expectations. Walk the talk in order to build trust and accelerate results.
