Girl in Blue is a historical fiction that takes

place during the Civil War. It follows Sarah who

escapes a horrible family situation and runs away to

join the army disguised as a boy. Throughout the story she must navigate the army life and keep her identity a secret. After an unexpected encounter with a detective she is drawn into mystery, spies, and intrique. This novel is an engaging and fast paced historical adventure! I would give it 7/10 starts and suggest this read to anyone who enjoys

a good adventure!

Vienna Prelude is the

first book in the Zion Covenant

series. It is a historical fiction novel that

takes place before and during WWII. It follows

Elisa Lindheim, a Jewish/German violinist with the Vienna

Philharmonic orchestra. When Nazi darkness descends on her homeland

she must seek the help of an American journalist John Murphey when her father, Theo gets arrested by the gestapo. There are those who stay to fight the madness on this adventures novel the underground workings of the underground that work to save Jewsish families and take them to safety.

Will Elisa stay and help or will she flee under a false identity? If you

enjoy mystery, adventure, and romance you are sure to enjoy this

first book in a series of nine. I rate this book 9/10 and highly

suggest reading not only this book but each

one after as it builds the characters and

adds new relatable characters.
