Inner-city Brisbane Devastated By
Chair-Stealing Epidemic
New Farm, Teneriffe and Paddington.
These once-safe ‘hoods have become the unsuspecting hosts to a
very serious crime. Chair theft. On the cool, breezy, unsuspecting
evening of Tuesday the 26th of November the trend was taken to the
ultimate level. A chair was stolen from That’s a Moray Press editor,
Watercress Spriggs. Spriggs left ¼ of a set of chairs outside for NO
LONGER THAN TEN MINUTES only to return to find an empty
space, a void. A crime scene™. The chair was gone without a trace.
What’s more, nearby party animal neighbours, The Party Animal
Neighbours had seen but not a thing despite being outside calmly
partying at the time of the disaster. Did the chair-stealing yahoo
sneak past in an elusive moment of trouble makin’ or do our friends,
The Party Animal Neighbours have more involvement than we
realise?
