WHAT IS WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH?
“The best protection any woman can have… is courage.” ~ Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Do you know that the roots of “Women’s History Month” started as far back as 1911? Why is this fact important to know? Because it is! Think about that period in time. Women did not have many options. You may believe it is tough in 2023, which I will stand with you internationally and say we do need to create a better world for ourselves and those to come. I am always writing about these facts; how there is power in #healingthroughconnections and “we can raise the frequency of our world through love.” Back in 1911, women did not have the rights to do much. In the United States they could not even vote! It was tough to say the least.
My great-grandmother Pearl, as her family called her, believed that life should be equal for all. She did not just believe this fact; she did something about her beliefs. My great-grandmother was a proud “Suffragette.” Great-grandma Pearl, I celebrate you during “Women’s History Month!”
THEY WERE WILLING TO STAND FOR CHANGE AT ALL COST: SOUND FAMILIAR?
“How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world.” ~ Anne Frank
Is change easy? No. Is it worth it? Yes!!!
