So little yet so much happened in the midday of November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas. The Federal Bank Reserve of Dallas, what is it? (reportage) The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, is one of the 12 key Federal Banks in the nation. There are three main objectives that this institution has; Set monetary policy, banking supervision, and financial services. The FedBank is not a government facility, although the most important board of directors are part of a local government in Washington D.C. The FedBank has a historical section to it where they show you all the transitions that had to be done to get where all 12 banks are now. It all started during the revolutionary war, then the civil war and so on; all wars need funding and they thought it would be a useful way of facilitating the process. Monetary policies are one of the most important parts of the U.S. government looking at it in an economic standpoint. These policies are based on tax policies and everything that has to do with currency. Every month or so, the FedBanks shred tons of money to be able to print new coin. This is done to prevent a horrible thing called Inflation. All of these policies have to be approved by the previously mentioned Government Board of Directors. Banking supervision is also a large piece of this facility's responsibilities.
