what for dessert could top this meal. It was homemade, original (that’s right, the real McCoy) Strawberry Short Cake. Grandmother was smiling from
up above. Finely chopped fresh strawberries were
drizzled over a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream
intermingled with a fresh baked biscuit creating
a visually pleasing polka-dot effect. That biscuit
had been baked right before serving and whipped
cream crowned the top! And we were thinking the
cocktails were good. This dessert was off the
charts, exploding in our mouths like the 4th
of July!
Our meal finished, we were content…actually
more than that! We were extremely satisfied,
happy AND content. An excellent meal and
first class all the way. What
an awesome addition to the
Texas Coastal Bend. Yee
