each bite it was hard to decide which one was better. The Thai Fried Shrimp were tempura battered and served with a sweet Thai glaze. Served in a martini glass with a sprinkle of chives it was gently placed atop fresh greens. It was impossible to stop eating them. The Crab N Avocado Stack was awesome and perfect for summer. Diced mango made it light, cool and refreshing, and it was served with fresh homemade fried pita bread – delightful AND different. If you’ve been wondering where all the Oysters Rockefeller had gone, the answer would be to Shellfish! This fresh shucked delicacy I just couldn’t pass up. Big juicy oysters were baked under a breading of spinach and bacon, topped with béarnaise sauce. Classically elegant and succulent. What a find! Our entrees for the evening included Cedar Planked Salmon and the Artichoke Chicken. The salmon was served with a maple bourbon glaze made with brown sugar and accompanied with roasted red skin potatoes, caper beurre blanc and fresh vegetables. The salmon was skillfully prepared first by setting the ce- dar plank on fire, extinguishing and then placing it in the oven. The moist salmon was then placed on the cedar plank where the smokiness from the wood was baked into the fish. Delicious. The Artichoke Chicken was out next. This is a young tender 8oz chicken breast grilled, then topped with bacon, basil and artichokes. It was served with Yukon gold mashed potatoes, fresh vegetables and beurre blanc. The chicken was extremely juicy and you could use your fork for cutting. The flavor of the bacon and basil mixed delicately with the tender artichokes created a symphony in your mouth.
