The process starts with a DSP-controlled limiter that prevents distortion from loud signal peaks as much as 30 dB above full modulation. Audio is then sampled at 88.2 kHz and converted to a 24-bit digital stream. The digital audio is then analyzed and an encoded signal is delivered to the RF amplifier stage using a patented algorithm. The encoded signal is transmitted over a wide deviation FM carrier and delivered to the receiver. The DSP in the receiver decodes the signal and restores the original 24-bit digital audio. No compandor is applied to the audio signal at the transmitter input, which preserves the natural dynamics of the sound, without distortion. A fully optimized FM radio link is used to deliver the signal to the receiver. The power of the RF signal is concentrated within the channel, with minimal noise and out of band spurious signals. This is the best of digital working the best of analog to deliver world class audio quality and reliability. But measurements are not everything. The real measure is the smile on your face when you listen to it for the first time. Take a closer look More Technologies, Inc.
