Bosch keeps China Mingsheng Bank secure
CHINA: Bosch Security Systems
has installed an integrated security
system based around its Building
Integration System (BIS) at the
headquarters of China Minsheng
Bank in Shunyi New Town, Beijing.
The system, which comprises video
surveillance, intrusion detection,
access control, PA and conferencing
systems, created several challenges
including integrating both analogue
CCTV and IP based cameras into a
single solution.
Founded in 1996, China Minsheng
analogue CCTV, while the others
have already migrated to digital
systems, managed by Bosch’s
Video Management System (BVMS).
Both solutions could be installed
through BIS, enabling real-time
monitoring of all areas from a
single location.
BIS is also used to integrate the

system, Praesideo, was installed

One Riedel Artist 64 frame and
two Artist 32 frames support
62 panels distributed across
the theatre. The stunt riders
and acrobatic performers, as
well as the technical teams, use
the Artist system for continual
communication during the show.
Even in the aquatics area, the
system supports communications
between performers and
underwater handlers in the pool
via underwater speakers, in-mask
communications systems, and
buddy phones. Lighting, stage
management, rigging, automation,
special FX, and audio technicians
use the remaining bulk of the panels.
Monitored by the sound
department, the manufacturer’s
Director software also enabled
the sound team to respond to
perform troubleshooting.
