Insurance Update
In today’s world, it is important to
protect yourself and your client with
general liability insurance coverage. The
NSCA offers certi?ed professional members the opportunity to add liability
insurance coverage1 to their membership.
Membership policies are good from
February 1 to January 31 each year.
If you already have coverage then
safeguard yourself by renewing your
membership before the expiration date!
Remember—if you renew before
December 31, 2004 your contributions
may be tax deductible2.
Additional fees are charged for coverage.

Have Your Program
Recognized by the NSCA
Deadline: January 1, 2005
The application deadline for the
Education Recognition Program (ERP)
is approaching. To have your college or
university’s program reviewed during this
period, applications must be postmarked
by January 1, 2005. Recognition is good
for three years. Applications can be found
online at www.nsca-lift.org/ERP.
The ERP is a program offered by the
NSCA to regional accredited academic
institutions of higher education.
Acceptance into the ERP means that
your academic institution’s educational
program in strength and conditioning
has met the guidelines set by the NSCA.
This recognition is good for three years.
It speci?cally provides recognition from
the NSCA that the institution has met,
and continues to meet, minimal
requirements, and emphasizes anaerobic conditioning and training within
the speci?ed curriculum.
