A comparison of PTSD rates for Northern Ireland with, for instance, Israel, highlights
a significant difference. It may be presumed that the Israeli conflict did not take the
incidence of PTSD because the peculiarities of the Northern Ireland conflict are in
proportion more likely to develop PTSD among the population. This consideration
does not show that Israelis – and Palestinians – are free from PTSD as a consequence
of conflict; in actuality, other researches in this area found evidence of the prevalence
