BUTTERFLY’S TALE
Having this passion for nature has taken a complete toll in me. This day, I am standing out of the
window watching these two butterflies fly side by side and their motion was tantalizing to my
eyes. This was the second best thing that I have ever watched after staring at how water cascades
slowly and smoothly down a waterfall before being interrupted by this rock protruding from the
elbow of the cliff.
These two butterflies were so colorful, nothing that I had seen before could be compared to them.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, these three crows ambush the butterflies for a meal. One of the crows
manages to make a tasty meal out of one of the butterflies, but the other was lucky to have been
hit by the wing of one of the crow sending the poor thing into the room behind me. In a flash of a
second, a butterfly is rendered a loner by hungry crows.
This is basically how DEATH snatches away the very best people we have in our lives. We come
across obstacles in life just like the rock that interrupts a cascading waterfall to rupture into roars,
but the water will pick up the pace down cliff. We as human beings ought to learn that we must
put up a composed attitude when we encounter obstacles.
May God rest the souls of all those that DEATH has snatched their merry and laughter away
from us.
Dedicated to my Grandpa and Grandmas….we all miss you.
