Printing to a file only If you wish to simply print to a file, you may enable that option by ticking the corresponding check-box. The file will be stored in the output folder. You may choose between three output formats; a normal image file in the format specified on the Channel Settings tab, a Postscript file, or an Adobe PDF file. When choosing Postscript or PDF output, the printer selected must be a printer with a postscript driver. Other image editing options Where: Channel | Pixel Edit Sometimes it may be desirable to add a company logo or other information to images in a system. All such features have been grouped under Pixel Edit in the admin console tree. Watermarking images Where: Channel | Pixel Edit | Watermark tab To add a watermark to the images processed in the channel, click Watermark Image. Then choose where to place the watermark – either cornered or centered, in which case you may also scale the watermark to fit the image completely. To create a watermark from a company logo you may for instance use the emboss tool in Photoshop. A gray level of 128 will become transparent in the final composite image.
