Finally, the Action field lets you choose how the matched high-resolution file should be processed: Use found original as input image – Makes Color Factory use the high-resolution image as input file in the channel. It will be processed according to the channel’s settings and stored in its output folder. Copy found original to destination folder – Makes Color Factory copy the file to a destination folder of your choice, without processing in the channel. Move found original to destination folder - Makes Color Factory move the file from the archive to a destination folder of your choice, without processing in the channel. Configuring Image ID Archive Management Where: Channel | Image ID | Archive Management tab Color Factory may be configured to manage an archive by filtering out duplicates and optionally by updating the metadata of the file already in the archive using a metadata macro. To enable archive management, select the Enable archive management checkbox, then choose the archive’s index folder.
