This tab lets you choose how Color Factory should handle PSD files with layers. Choose between Always
merge layers, Merge layers when required by channel processing and Never merge layers.
If you the second option, to merge layers only when required by the processing, you can choose to make
a copy of the original input file in the output folder and specify a suffix for it.
When choosing never to merge layers, you should remember that all processing in the channel that
requires merging of layers will be skipped.

Color Factory Enterprise only!
By default, Color Factory moves PDF files directly to the UNKNOWN folder. However, you may
choose to process PDF files, allowing in-place color management and optional conversion to postscript.
After enabling PDF processing, you may choose to split the PDF file so that each page in the file is
extracted and stored as a separate PDF file. By clicking the Set split options button you can set file
naming conventions. You can either add a suffix to the file name as in the example screenshot above,
or you can make Color Factory look for a number in the original file name and update the number
according to each page’s number. (The Update existing page number in file name option.)
