Content of Training
This workshop will develop knowledge and understanding of training and coaching as required by a practising or potential manager. The workshop will focus on the following: • An understanding of how to identify training and coaching needs • Knowledge of different learning styles and how these can assist learning at Work • Knowledge of how to plan the coaching for an individual • An understanding of the importance of effective feedback in coaching
Assessment
Delegates will complete an assignment, which will be marked by the assessor, internally verified by the IV before certification is awarded via ILM.

Course Entry Criteria
The workshop would be suitable for Managers who have recently taken on a wider role and may be responsible for supervisors/team leaders. However, managers who have been in a role at this level for some time, but may have little or no formal management training will benefit from attending.
