Cesar Vargas ’05, the first undocumented
immigrant to be granted a law license in
New York, is wasting no time putting his legal
experience to use helping others. He recently
helped an undocumented teenager from
Honduras win asylum, a legal victory that
comes draped in irony. “My client is probably
going to have a much more permanent
immigration status than his attorney,” Vargas
told the Huffington Post.
