Candice D . Ramoutar ’ 14 received the Terence Tolbert Public Service Award this past February , The award is given by CUNY and commemorates the life of Terence D . Tolbert , who dedicated himself to government and public service . Candice was introduced by Mayor Bill de Blasio before giving her acceptance speech . She is completing her Master ’ s Degree in Urban Studies and Public Policy and Administration at CUNY School of Professional Studies , and is interning with Senator Leroy Comrie in Queens , NY .

Brian D . Morales ’ 08 is embarking on his fourth-year at Wagner College , where he serves as Assistant Director of Media Relations . He is actively involved in the College Sports Information Directors of America ( CoSIDA ) serving as a mentor for a third straight year . He is also a member on the CoSIDA Continuing Education Committee .

Joseph Acciarito ’ 12 and Josephine Pagliughi ’ 13 were married this past March and celebrated their destination wedding in Italy this past August . Joseph is Assistant Director of Advancement at Cristo Rey Brooklyn High School while Josephine works as a Senior Analyst in Regulatory Financial Reporting at Goldman Sachs .

Alana Hernandez ’ 16 is a Curatorial Project Assistant at the Whitney Museum . She is working on two upcoming exhibitions ; a contemporary group show slated for next summer and an exhibition on Mexican muralists ( 1920 – 1950 ) and their influence on artists in the United States which opens in 2020 . “ Since I was a Junior at SFC , taking classes with both Dr . Jennifer Wingate and Dr . Francis Greene , I was inspired and encouraged to pursue a career as a curator and art historian .” Now as she conducts archival research for the historical exhibition and studio visits for the contemporary show , she is moving closer to realizing her dream .
