They have special features such as the World Of Outlaw Craftsman Late Models vs . Dirtcar Summer Nationals show . Along with this they also have the historic Tony Hulman Classic , a mainstay at Terre Haute .

RIDE ACROSS INDIANA ( R . A . I . N .) July 20 www . rainride . org The 160-mile length bicycle ride runs mostly on the Historic National Route 40 , an older , divided four-lane road with light traffic and gentle rolling hills . The ride begins at 7am on the campus of St . Mary-of-the-Woods College in Terre Haute , Indiana , and crosses the state to Earlham College in Richmond , Indiana . To participate you should be able to average at least 12 to 14 mph for over 11 hours .
