Tell us about your career journey . How did you get where you are today , and who / what helped you along the way ?
Although I didn ’ t realize it at the time , my career really began on our family farm in Iowa . The work ethic that my dad demonstrated , and that he demanded of others , laid the foundation for how I ’ ve always approached work and responsibilities . I am forever grateful for his example and support as I followed in his footsteps working as a banker for much of my career . Following my 25-year banking career in Arizona , Iowa and finally Indiana , I joined the incredible Clabber Girl team where I oversaw various marketing and operational functions . Throughout my career , I ’ ve had the opportunity to serve in many different business roles and support various functions . This current chapter in my career has taken those past experiences and I now provide business consulting and coaching services through my company , GoTime Coaching , LLC . I ’ ve found a wonderful balance at this point in my career that honors my desire to work , travel and volunteer and serve our community .
What ’ s an accomplishment of which you are most proud ?
There is no greater accomplishment or joy to me than raising two children so that they can support themselves and pursue their life goals . Watching them grow and thrive is the greatest gift , and accomplishment , of all .
What ’ s the source of your motivation ?
My source of motivation comes from a desire to always do better , to serve others and to make a positive impact in whatever I do . There are always more ways we can grow , things we
