Why is Tees Components the place of choice for engineering apprenticeships? The Tees Components Machine Shop Apprenticeship scheme provides more than just a foot in the door of engineering, it’ s a gateway to a rewarding and well-paying career in a secure and ever-evolving industry.
The scheme’ s highlights include:
• Award-winning training programme: Tees Components’ Advanced Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship has been consistently recognised and rewarded, including being named SME Employer of the Year for the North East by the National Apprenticeship Awards.
• Bespoke scheme designed to give you the best start: Tees Components have worked closely with local colleges to create a programme that provides the best foundations for a career in machining and can be tailored to your specific needs and experience.

• Continued support: As well as going to college, you’ ll also be supported with on-thejob learning, working with experienced engineers to help them develop.
More than just machining! A career at Tees Components doesn’ t just mean machining – it’ s a diverse business, offering training and career paths in all departments.
Scholarships In 2024, Tees Components welcomed its first scholars in partnership with Middlesbrough College, providing financial support, equipment and PPE and on site work placements for two students.
It’ s another great initiative providing a different path into engineering careers!
