Kiara Marshall- construction and subcontracts engineer.

KIARA’ S STORY

Name: Kiara Marshall
Role: Construction and subcontracts engineer
From a young age, I knew I wanted to work in construction. At 13, I was fascinated by how buildings and infrastructure shape our world and, in September 2024, I joined Technip Energies.
My role involves supporting carbon capture projects, participating in site visits across Norway and London and contributing to early-stage project phases.
I love being part of projects that shape the future of engineering and I’ m thoroughly enjoying the experience – learning from experts, tackling new challenges and feeling that I’ m making a real difference in the energy sector.
I’ d advise young people to stay curious, seek out opportunities to learn and lead, and don’ t be afraid to step outside of your comfort zone.

LUKE’ S STORY

Name: Luke Fogarty Role: Construction engineer
I studied chemical engineering at university before joining Technip Energies two years ago.
I wasn’ t sure what field I wanted to go into, so I was keen to join a graduate scheme where I could spend time in different departments.
So far, I’ ve spent a year in project controls and now I’ m in the construction department, where I support the construction team to oversee the planning, design and execution of construction projects.
I’ ve already been to Poland and visited our Paris office several times, so there are good opportunities to travel.
Technip Energies is involved in some of the world’ s biggest and most important projects and the NZT Power-NEP project is going to set the stage for the future of the industry and I’ m really excited to be a part of that.
Just be confident and go for it.
