Parties and afternoon teas on the festive menu A cklam Hall is set to ‘deck the halls’ for a third successive Christmas since opening following a stunning refurbishment in February 2016. December will bring another festive, fun-filled month of lunches, afternoon teas and dinners for all those long overdue get- togethers. From November 30, Middlesbrough’s only Grade I listed building will play host to its popular Christmas parties, which have proved a huge hit in previous years, selling out during the summer, leading to additional evenings being added. Acklam Hall’s managing director Michael Jones believes the demand is a direct reflection of the success of the venue’s 2017 events. One very happy customer, Sara Luther, contacted Acklam Hall after attending one of last year’s parties to give them this fantastic feedback…“I’d just like to say a huge thank you to all the staff for making our Christmas party night on December 22 a fantastic evening. The food was excellent and the staff treated us really well. In fact so much so that I would like to be able to book again next year as soon as your Christmas dates are released.” Santa Claus and Mrs Claus will bring Acklam Hall’s delightful afternoon teas, served in the Brierley Dining Room during December. From mince pies and delicious Celebrate in style this Christmas at Acklam Hall. snowman macaroons, to white stilton scones and turkey and stuffing sandwiches, there’s something for everyone. Afternoon teas are available throughout the month on Monday from 12pm–3pm and Tuesday to Sunday from 12pm–4pm. Christmas is all about getting together with friends and family, enjoying some catch-up time, while enjoying great food and a cheeky tipple. Acklam Hall’s private dining rooms provide the perfect location for guests to enjoy their own music selection, decorations and a range of the venue’s menus. It’s only the company they can’t pick for you, so choose wisely. Acklam Hall is proud to offer menu options to cater for their vegan guests, as well as other various dietary requirements, so they are confident nobody will miss out on the goodies this Christmas.
