WINTER LAUNCH
D
espite the rain and bitter cold, it
was a happy group who joined
together just prior to Christmas
last year to celebrate the launch of Tees Life’s
Winter issue. The event took place at Yarm
High Street’s trendy tapas eaterie, Luna Blu.
Publishers Dave Allan and Martin Walker,
advertisers old and new and friends of the
magazine - sister publication to the hugely
successful Tees Business - enjoyed canapes
courtesy of the Luna Blu kitchen, followed
by a selection of handmade mini desserts,
which went down a storm. This was the
first issue with editor Julie Burniston at the
helm and something of a departure for the
publication, with TV star Shirley Ballas on
the cover and some interesting new tweaks
inside. With a readership of more than
30,000, Tees Life is delivered free to homes
and businesses in and across Teesside,
including Wynyard, Norton, Yarm, Hartburn
and Guisborough.
