of Clinkards, attracting dozens of early morning
networkers.
Visitors heard fascinating talks by managing
director Charles Clinkard and trading director
Ian Payne on the famous shoe company’s long
history, dating back to 1924, and their future
hopes for the firm’s 515 staff and 33 stores.
