As much as we love our base on the thriving Stokesley
Industrial Park, it’s fair to say that Applied Integration are out on
a limb in our headquarters deep in the breath-taking countryside
of North Yorkshire.
So it’s always good to catch up with
all that’s great about Teesside’s business
scene by flicking through the pages of this
magazine, a publication that’s established
itself so quickly that it’s hard to imagine why
no one thought of the idea sooner.
The pages are packed full of amazing
success stories, exciting start-ups and
businesses that seem certain to become
Teesside icons in the years to come.
Sometimes you can only wonder at the
sheer dogged resourcefulness of Tees
businesses. Not to mention at the awesome
skills of our business leaders.
Businesses across the region – Teesside,
Tees Valley or whatever you want to call
it – have fought their way through the worst
recession in living memory to now stand
alongside the best this country has to offer
across all industries.
At Applied Integration, we’re celebrating
10 years in business. Launching in 2005,
with the recession just around the corner, it
could have all gone pear-shaped – but instead
we’re proud to say we’ve enjoyed a period of
success we could never have dreamed of.
After all, it’s not many companies that can
boast about the defence of the nation on
their CV! I believe our work for the Ministry
of Defence, developing control systems for
nuclear attack submarines, is one of the most
exciting projects currently being undertaken
by any business across Teesside or the entire
North-East.
We’re proud to support Tees Business as
Official Media Partners. Our involvement
further raises our profile across the region,
letting potential customers and recruits
know that you need look no further than
Teesside to find the skills and opportunities
to compete with any other area of the UK.
And it helps support a publication that says
so much about all that’s good about business
on Teesside.
