Kevin Buckler, Mobile Mini Stockton-based Mobile Mini, a leading hirer of portable site accommodation and secure storage containers, has appointed a national transport manager to help drive the company’ s transport operations forward.
Kevin Buckler has joined the company, which has 16 branches throughout the country including one in Middlesbrough, as part of its health and safety team and is keen to use his 25 years of experience to build on best practice and safety measures already established within Mobile Mini.

Colin McMillan, Nortech Group Nortech Group has appointed highlyexperienced energy, chemical and power industry specialist Colin McMillan as its new group development director.
With more than 40 years’ experience in the oil, gas, petrochemical and power sectors, McMillan was most recently business development director at ENGIEowned Fabricom, spending 12 years with the company.
He also gained significant experience with Whessoe Projects followed by six years as director and general manager at Mowlem Engineering Projects.
Peter Nathan, Datum360 Peter Nathan, a qualified civil engineer, has joined Middlesbrough-based Datum360, bringing with him a wealth of mining and metals industry expertise to the global engineering information management software and consulting specialist.
His appointment is part of Datum360’ s strategy to extend their reach into the mining industry.
Nathan will be helping to develop specific Software as a Service( SaaS) solutions that will deliver better data and information management for the mining sector. His vast experience in the mining sector stretches back over 20 years, and has seen him work with several Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, ICL and Anglo American mining projects.
Latterly he has been specialising in mining data and HSE software and this is where the story starts with Datum360.
Daniel Dixon, Viral Effect Viral Effect, the Teesside-based digital marketing and customer engagement agency, has launched a move into digital learning by recruiting its ninth new member of staff in just 12 months.
Experienced social media trainer Daniel Dixon is leading Viral Effect’ s new learning arm as the fast-growing firm looks to fill a gap in the market for businesses that recognise the need for a strong social media presence but can’ t yet afford full service support.
Dixon, who was previously with RAW Digital Training in Stockton, has taken up a role as head of learning and development and will focus on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.

John Fraser, Biochemica Tees-based water and wastewater treatment specialist, Biochemica Group, has appointed a new managing director as part of its ambitious growth strategy.
The Billingham-headquartered company, which counts major blue chip companies across a variety of sectors including food and beverage, petro-chemical, pharmaceutical and utilities among its most prestigious clients, recorded a turnover of £ 6 million, up 23 % on the previous year.
Off the back of this success, Biochemica, which operates internationally, has completed a group restructure and commissioned John Fraser – pictured( right) with CEO Dave Ruddy( left) and Stockton North MP Alex Cunningham – to help drive it forward, as it targets expansion into new industries.
Mark Phillips, Unit Birwelco Tees-based engineering firm Unit Birwelco has appointed a new group managing director.
Mark Phillips has joined the engineering, procurement, construction and maintenance outfit, which is based in Stockton.
Phillips brings with him a wealth of experience as managing director and before that finance director at CB & I, Shaw Group UK. He is also vice president of the Engineering Construction Industry Association.
Unit Birwelco, which works across oil and gas, petrochemical and power sectors, has recently launched a dedicated power services division, and the group has a real sense of focus regarding its future and its place within the industry.
