Selected from a group of five students who interviewed for an initial internship, Michael spent four weeks at PD Ports’ Warehouse Operations in Billingham. Anna Caygill and Joseph Kelly, Just Williams Having enjoyed a recent period of growth, Stockton-based outsourced sales specialist, Just Williams, has added Anna Caygill to its team, as it continues to build its presence throughout the North East and Yorkshire. Anna, aged 33, has been appointed as a sales specialist following several recent contract wins. Joseph Kelly, 24, also joins in a sales support role looking after a range of clients. In 2018, managing director Jessica Williams was crowned Best Newcomer at the Tees Businesswomen Awards. Julie Sanderson and Helen Snell, Punch Robson Solicitors Punch Robson, which has its headquarters in Ingleby Barwick, has appointed Julie Sanderson (pictured, left) as the firm’s operations manager following a rise in demand for its services. Julie is responsible for the effective running of the business, supporting the four Punch Robson partners with day-to-day operations, including office and facilities management, as well as updating and implementing procedures. Helen Snell (right), who joined the firm as a trainee solicitor in 2018 with three years of industry experience, has qualified as a solicitor, become a member of Solicitors for the Elderly and is looking to further develop her skillset by studying for the STEP qualification. Paul Brooks, Pickerings Lifts Paul Brooks has succeeded Ian Bowers as managing director of Pickerings Lifts. Brooks joined the company in 2014, initially joining as head of divisional operations before being promoted to service director in 2018. In his new role Paul will be responsible for the strategy, growth and direction of Pickerings Lifts, as well as taking responsibility for key customer accounts. Following Ian’s retirement there have been further changes within the company’s executive board, with former service sales and marketing director Gary Rains promoted to service director. Michael Chapman, PD Ports PD Ports has welcomed a new member of staff to its 1,000-plus strong team, following his successful completion of a programme delivered in partnership with Stockton Riverside College and the Tees Valley Logistics Academy.
