has joined the Enviro-Tech MS team after
a red hot summer led to more customers
wanting air conditioning in their homes and
businesses.

Clive Owen has appointed four new trainees
at its Darlington office is it prepares for future
growth.
The local young people will have the
opportunity to gain skills, qualifications and
experience while earning a salary.
During a three-year training contract, three
of the trainees – Paige Robson, Elizabeth Rae
and Oliver Bainbridge – will receive full study
support for the ACA qualification with the
ICAEW.

Better has appointed two new members
to its senior management team following
unprecedented growth over the last two
years.
Simon Preece joins as associate brand
director and will support the agency’s
strategic growth, service offer and, as the
most awarded marketer in DBA history,
further develop its commercial effectiveness
agenda.
Simon brings a wealth of experience to
Better, having spent 26 years at Elmwood
as a shareholder and main board member
managing the development of many of their
largest client relationships across FMCG,
corporate and retail sectors and the BBC.
Additionally, John Taylor, who joined
Better as creative director in 2016, has been
appointed as board director.
Gary Lumby, JDM Earth
Hartlepool-based electrical contracting and
electric vehicle charging specialists JDM
Earth has appointed well-known business
consultant Gary Lumby as its first non-
executive director.
The appointment has come at a time of
substantial growth for JDM Earth, which
has increased its turnover to over £250,000
in 2018 with plans to further grow that to
£500,000 within this financial year.
Mr Lumby assumes the position as non-
executive director at JDM, alongside his role
on the board of other prominent businesses
in the region.

Erica joined Jacksons in 2004 while
studying for her degree at Teesside University
and qualified as a solicitor in 2010 into the
firm’s commercial property department.

Having only recently turned 18, Nile has
just finished studying his A-Levels at Durham
Sixth Form and is looking to get stuck into
a role where he can expand on his finance

An apprenticeship-trained machinist, he
has 20 years’ experience in subcontracting,
estimating, process auditing, shift
management and contract management.
