STRATEGIC GROWTH
Paralloy Group partners with Framatome
Paralloy Group has entered a strategic partnership with an international leader in nuclear energy.
The partnership with Framatome reinforces Paralloy’ s long-term commitment to securing and developing critical nuclear and defence supply chains in France and across Europe.
As part of the agreement, Framatome has acquired a minority shareholding in Manoir France, a subsidiary of Paralloy Group. This follows Manoir France’ s recent acquisition of Hachette et Driout in the Grand Est region, further strengthening its industrial footprint.
The collaboration represents a significant milestone in enhancing industrial capabilities that underpin strategically important sectors and supports the long-term growth of high-integrity manufacturing essential to the nuclear and defence industries.
Manoir France, together with its newly integrated subsidiary now operating as Firth Vickers France, is widely recognised for its expertise in producing complex, high-performance engineered components. These capabilities play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability and performance of demanding industrial applications worldwide.
Through this partnership, Framatome will contribute its global expertise in nuclear engineering, safety, quality culture and project delivery. This will support the continued development of Manoir France and Firth Vickers France, further strengthening operational excellence and enabling the delivery of high-quality solutions to customers across key global markets.
Framatome CEO Grégoire Ponchon said:“ This equity participation will consolidate two emblematic foundry sites in France, serving the most demanding industrial sectors, particularly nuclear and defence. It gives us further leverage to strengthen our sovereignty and to secure our supply chains, particularly for the EPR2 programme and for the defence industry,”
Robert McGowan, CEO of Paralloy Group, added:“ This partnership represents an important milestone for Paralloy Group. Framatome’ s investment is a strong endorsement of our teams’ expertise and capabilities. By combining our advanced metallurgical and manufacturing strengths with Framatome’ s world-class expertise in nuclear safety, quality and project delivery, we are creating new opportunities for growth and innovation.”
