Continuing to strengthen its position as one of the North-East’ s leading regional firms, Freeman Johnson recently opened a new office in the Cleveland Business Centre in Middlesbrough.
A firm with traditional roots dating back almost 200 years, Freeman Johnson is expanding its commercial services to meet the growing needs of businesses in the North-East.
The new office parks Freeman Johnson on the doors of the court and right among the businesses of Middlesbrough.
Alongside the firm’ s other offices in the busy centres of Darlington, Durham and Northallerton, it’ s not just the offices that are increasing in number, with the commercial team’ s expansion fuelled by growth.
Freeman Johnson says it prides itself on its young talent, with junior lawyers progressing both through traditional training contracts and apprenticeship schemes, which provide on-the-job training from day one under the watchful eye of seasoned experts.
“ We have a strong track record of

developing talent at Freeman Johnson and it’ s exciting for the future of the firm that our teams are strengthening,” said managing partner Natalie Nunn, who herself developed her career within the firm.
“ The commercial and dispute resolution team has recently expanded and has wealth of experience. As part of our growth plans, we nurture our junior lawyers into great lawyers.
“ The young talent are the future of the future of the firm, and the profession.”
Freeman Johnson’ s team of experts has also been added to, with Joanne Blackwood joining the team earlier in the year and Phil Masters joining in the summer, both solicitors with proven track records and decades of experience in personal and commercial disputes.
They join Rosie Woodward, partner in the firm providing commercial and corporate advice for clients ranging from startups, agricultural and family partnerships to larger and national clients.
