The company has the capability to machine components from the hand-held up to 72 tonnes, making it one of the UK’ s leading providers of large-scale machining services. As customer requirements continue to evolve, Tees Components has invested heavily in expanding its capability, introducing dynamic balancing services and a dedicated surface treatment building with shot blasting and industrial painting facilities.
These complementary services allow customers to access a broader range of engineering support from a single supplier, simplifying supply chains, reducing lead times and providing a more streamlined route from manufacture to final finish.

Alongside its subcontract engineering services, Tees Components is also the original equipment manufacturer( OEM) for Tees White Gill( TWG) Thrusters, a specialist marine propulsion product with a heritage spanning more than a century. The business supplies TWG propulsion solutions to customers around the world, with recent export orders demonstrating the continuing international demand for this product, which is well-established particularly in the oceanographic research, passenger ferry and workboat markets.
