Crystal Galleries acquires fellow crystal and glass specialist
The North-East’ s reputation for excellence in engraved awards and gifts has been strengthened with two of the region’ s leading names in crystal and glass uniting as one.
Family-owned Crystal Galleries, based in Middlesbrough, has supplied high-quality engraved glass, crystal gifts and awards for over 40 years.
The firm has now acquired Dunelm Glass, another respected North-East business, which built a strong reputation for glass and crystal before entering liquidation earlier this year.
Crystal Galleries stepped in to acquire Dunelm’ s assets, ensuring continuity of service for Dunelm’ s loyal customer base and safeguarding local expertise.
The move has seen several former Dunelm staff welcomed into Crystal Galleries’ team, helping ensure a smooth transition for customers while supporting local employment.
Crystal Galleries’ managing director Jeremy Lowes said:“ We’ re proud to strengthen our offering while keeping Dunelm’ s expertise within the North-East.
“ Our focus has always been on combining exceptional products with outstanding service, and this acquisition allows us to continue that mission for an even wider audience.”
Existing Dunelm customers will continue to benefit from the same products, production techniques and expert support they are familiar with, now backed by Crystal Galleries’ expanded resources, warehousing and product range.
