Achievement – Outrank CEO Stephen Robinson with the Tees Business Small Company of the Year award.
Our open-door policy is underpinned by great client wins that keep feeding our ability to grow. As our clients grow, we grow with them.
“ An agency is only as good as its team, and a great working environment is crucial for boosting productivity and overall wellbeing.”
Outrank clearly places a high value on employee wellbeing, consistently seeking feedback from its staff and working together to deliver initiatives that enhance both the business and employees’ work lives.
Francesca said:“ There are many components that make up the culture of a business, but wellbeing is very important to the staff at Outrank.
“ What makes us different is that we have consistently leaned into the staff for feedback and worked collaboratively to deliver something of value that enhances the business and enhances the employees’ work lives. Everyone can see we are delivering on our promises to improve on that.”
Outrank’ s success is fuelled by its gifted team and the agency is committed to attracting and retaining the best talent in the industry.
Stephen said:“ In the last three months alone, we have hired 12 people, and we are currently looking to recruit a further six with immediate effect.
“ We are now at 42 members of staff at the end of May, and including consultants, we will be at 58 heads and climbing by the end of the year, operating across different sectors.”
The new office layout will reflect this growth, with dedicated spaces for different teams.
“ The ground floor will be a sales and training environment, and the first floor will be focused on delivery,” said Stephen.
“ An agency is its people, and we are always recruiting. As long as the best CV lands, we are always open to bringing in new talent.”
Outrank is not just focused on its own growth. The agency is also committed to giving back to the local community, highlighted by taking part in a charity football match against AltLabs, another Teesside company, at the Riverside Stadium, raising thousands of pounds for Teesside Hospice.
Stephen said:“ What started with a bit of friendly banter between me and Imran Anwar( CEO, AltLabs) ended with us saying we should have a kickabout.
“ The next thing I knew, a sales guy from MFC emailed about us hiring the stadium, and it grew arms and legs. It went from an idea to,‘ can we pull something off?’ We did!
Continuing the football theme, Outrank also supported Spennymoor Town’ s recent trip to Wembley by helping subsidise fans travel, underlining its commitment to local sporting initiatives.
And at the heart of Outrank’ s growth is its unwavering focus on helping SMEs and larger businesses achieve their goals through effective digital marketing strategies across a diverse range of sectors.
Francesca said:“ Our open-door policy is underpinned by great client wins that keep feeding our ability to grow. As our clients grow, we grow with them.
“ Our customers are feeling the benefit locally, regionally and nationally in increased revenue and lead generation.”
Outrank has a proven track record of delivering exceptional results for its clients. An example recently was how local business Evergreen experienced a significant boost in sales after Outrank built them a new e-commerce website.
Francesca said:“ It has been great to see the success and growth of one of our customers, Evergreen, who has seen an increase in sales by 127 %.
“ As a result of their growth and their excellent products, we have used them to help and supply our new office with shrubs and greenery.”
The ambitious, forward-thinking agency projects further significant revenue rises in the coming years, driven by organic growth and potential acquisitions.
